carried many severly injured people with no eyes or noses to the hospital
in Kabe, Hiroshima. A man that I thought was dead grabbed my ankle. I
was nearly paralyzed with terror. I carried people back and forth 3 times."("I'm
out of here!" this was how Mr.Makino felt when a man, burned all over
his body and looking dead, grabbed his ankle.
"Dad!
Uncle! We have no carts right now to take them home. Go get the cart at
house. Now keep these identifiable bodies separate from the others until
they return!
